Hatchechubbee woman dies in fire

An 85-year-old woman died in a Saturday morning fire at her Hatchechubbee, Ala., home.
Addie Burts, who lived at 126 Christine Drive, was pronounced dead at about 7 a.m., Russell County Coroner Arthur L. Sumbry Jr. said.
Her body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensics for an autopsy.
Russell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, Sumbry said.
