Liquor store robbed

A Saturday afternoon robbery left a Victory Drive liquor store without some of its earnings, police said.
A suspect entered 30th Avenue Package Store, 3001 Victory Drive, around 6:20 p.m., said Lt. Steve Cox. Wielding a handgun, the man threatened the clerk and took an undetermined amount of money.
He then left in an older, maroon Oldsmobile.
"Nobody hurt, no shots fired," Cox said.
