God Bless Fort Benning Day approaching

Next Saturday's God Bless Fort Benning Day will include draws like live entertainment, carnival games and a pancake breakfast for soldiers, event organizers announced at a press conference today.

The event, which celebrates local members of the military, will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 1100 block of Broadway in Columbus. Admission is free and it's open to the public.
